Love the photo! Thank you for making me smile, and think of my son who used to make faces like this and is not a “first year” at the University of Chicago.
Interestingly, I also LOVE TEavana tea – so great choice of sponsors!
I look forward to reading you longer blogs- love learning about all sorts of books, and hope you check my blog as well. I am and educational / school psychologist and write about how parents can increase their kids literacy and creativity through books, writing, games, and resources all around us. I hope you check it out – and I would love your opinion/comments.
All the best and I look forward to my next visit here,

Meryl, thanks for visiting my blog! I love that you write about literacy. You should check out the blog I did earlier this week (or last week, can’t remember) called “What Has Happened to the Readers”. It was about that sort of thing. Can’t wait to read your blog!

I lovely photo; it reminds me of a funny moment my daughter had with her friend a few years ago and they pulled similar faces (and ears) for my camera.
